Safety and Eligibility Guidelines

  • Arrive with clean, fresh skin—free from makeup, oils, or creams. This ensures the pigment settles flawlessly, providing a smoother, longer-lasting result.

  • Skip both on the day of your appointment, as they can increase skin sensitivity and impact pigment retention.

  • Hydrated skin is plump, radiant, and better able to absorb and retain pigment. Drink water consistently before your session.

  • Unless otherwise directed by a doctor, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or similar supplements 24–48 hours before your appointment to minimize bleeding and support pigment retention.

  • To ensure optimal pigment retention and minimize skin sensitivity, please avoid antibiotics, tanning (including sun exposure and tanning beds), and retinoids or exfoliating acids (such as retinol, tretinoin, glycolic, or salicylic acid) for at least two weeks before your freckle tattoo appointment. These can affect how your skin heals and how well the pigment retains.

  • For the best results, we recommend refraining from Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, or any other aggressive facial treatments for at least 30 days before and after your freckle tattoo session. These treatments can alter your skin’s integrity and potentially interfere with the healing process and the appearance of your freckle tattoo.

  • While most clients feel comfortable returning to their daily activities after the procedure, we recommend avoiding heavy sweating (such as intense workouts) and excessive sun exposure for the first 7-10 days as the freckles heal. This helps to preserve the delicate results and promote a smooth healing process.
