Angel Removal is a safe, manual technique, designed to removal tattoo pigment from the skin.
What is Angel Removal?
Angel Removal is a safe, manual technique, designed to remove tattoo pigment from the skin; in particular, pigment from PMU treatments, using a simple 3 step process.
Angel Removal removes all colors and all pigments in the market.
The active ingredients in Angel Removal are the acids from antioxidant fruits such as rice, cocoa, and wheat, among others.
The first removal solutions in the market used acids from metals, which are highly aggressive to the skin. In the case of Angel Removal, the acids it carries are from fermented fruit and they work as a chemical peel.
The other ways to eliminate the tattoo on a dermatological level may leave unwanted traces such as pigment spots or scars. With Angel Removal we can remove up to 99% of the pigment from the skin. One of the advantage of Angel Removal is that acid fruits are photo protectors, which means that they protect the skin from the appearance of sunspots in addition to the advantage of removing pigment spots.
With this method we can eliminate the pigment from different levels of the skin. Angel Removal is a very safe method, however its application requires professional training.
The pigment’s nature and the depth at which it is placed are key factors to determine the number of sessions that need to be performed.
If the pigment is in the Epidermis or in the first layer of the dermis, it can be removed in 1 to 3 sessions. If it is in the lower part of the dermis, it is possible to remove 99% of it, but it may require more than 8 sessions.
Angel Removal is the first removal product designed specifically for eyebrows.
The pigment then comes out in two ways:
Bringing the pigment to the surface A chemical process is carried out at the Epidermis level. When the molecules of the removal solution meet the pigment particles that are found between the layers of the skin, it breaks the collagen capsules, binds with the pigment, and brings it to the surface.
Pigment particles are transported deeper into the Dermis and Hypodermis layers of the skin and are absorbed into the lymphatic system and subsequently eliminated from the body through sweat, urine and tears.
Do not expect to see significant amounts of pigment coming out of the surface of the skin during the treatment. The pigment comes out in small quantities over several days, a large amount of which comes out during the aftercare portion of the process. Pigment may still be leaving the body up to 30 days after the removal treatment. Obviously, the portion of the pigment eliminated through the Lymphatic system is not visible at all.
If the pigment was originally placed at a shallow depth, one session will probably be sufficient. In other cases, the treatment is repeated 1 to 9 times.

Within the next 24 hours after the procedure:
KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else, leave open to air. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing. You should not be touching the area at all but if you find yourself needing to please make sure your hands are exceptionally clean.
DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. You can shower as normal but keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes.
NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TOBS, TANNING, OR INTENSE EXERCISE THAT MAY CAUSE SWEATING.
DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process (i.e. no picking, scratching, etc.) All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring.
After 24 hours of the procedure:
You may proceed with your normal daily routine. Only downtime is within the first 24 hours of the procedure. You may go back to the gym, apply makeup, shower normally etc.
For the next 7 Days AFTER the first 24 hours:
Apply a thin layer of the provided solution once in the evening before bed after cleaning your brows with a non-scented cleanser. Leave the solution on all night and clean off first thing in the morning upon awakening.
What to expect
The pigment then comes out in two ways:
It is attracted to the skin surface like a magnet and leaves the body
The rest is removed through the lymphatic system
The pigment comes out in small quantities over several days, a large amount of which comes out during the aftercare portion of the process. Pigment may still be leaving the body up to 30 days after the removal treatment.
Lightening and/or removing unwanted pigment is a process and patience is required. This is true whether you are choosing a lightening product service or laser. Please be patient and give the process a fair chance to work. Expect visible and wanted results anywhere from in 1 to 9 sessions. Must wait at least 6-8 weeks in between each session. If you have mature or thin skin, it is required to wait 10-14 weeks longer in between sessions. No exceptions.
How many sessions needed will depend on how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted and how much needs to be removed for the desired result. In many cases only a percentage of the density needs to be lightened/removed and then we can continue the correction process by color correcting/performing a cover-up. In those cases where we have pigment misplaced or in an unwanted area, color correcting will not be an option and removing as much of the pigment as possible will be our ultimate goal. Results cannot be foreseen, predicted or guaranteed.
Each Client’s skin responds differently, both in the length of time it takes to heal, and the number of sessions needed for your desired results and color retention. This information acts as a guideline only, and we cannot guarantee your results. The results and longevity of your tattoo will depend greatly on how you take care of it during the healing process and beyond.
